In such a fast pace world, we wanted a place where people could unplug and unwind. Located at the edge of the Buena Vista State Forests, Three Island Lake is a jewel in a wilderness setting. Surrounded by pine and birch forest that is lush and green in summer and ablaze with color in fall. Three Island's clear waters reflect nature as it was meant to be.

The nights are filled with the song of loons, who make Three Island their summer home, and many varieties of ducks nest around the lake, feeding on vast expanses of wild rice and teaching their young the way of the wild. In spring the drumming of ruffed grouse may be heard and, on quiet mornings, deer will venture from the deep forest to forage.
